DB2 Encyption - Native ??

Hello friends,

While working on SuSE ent 11 patch level 11. DB2 9.7.2

This is a small company ( part time job). The manager wants to encrypt two columns (lobs) from two seperate tables.

Till now, I did not ever use any native db2 encryption. We used third party software in my previous jobs.

I have to request my friends' help to tell my manager what can be done with core db2 encryption options.

Help please,

Regards

Look in the manual for the ENCRYPT and DECRYPT functions.
