Hi,
I have downloaded and installed Release 2.2.1.0 and it has worked for me as recent as last week. But when I launch it now it throws this Error:

Workspace cannot be locked
Could not launch the product because associated workspace is currently in use by another Eclipse app.

I deleted the .lock file but the error persists and doesn't go away.
Some othertimes the javaw.exe hangs and the program is stuck in the splash screen and won't load.

Any ideas on how to fix?

I made sure my java is appropriatly installed.

Looks to me in your workspace folder there could be a file name .lock. Try deleting this file and start again.
