DB2 Server Edition vs AESE

There is a DB2 Server Edition and a DB2 AESE

What is the difference between them

Did they phase out the DB2 Server edition

Can I get the DB2 Server Edition in a 9.7

Is 9.7 the latest general release for all DB2 products?

There's no "server edition". There are Enterprise Server Edition, Workgroup Server Edition, and a couple of Express Editions.

No, because there's no "Server Edition". You can get any other existing edition though.

No. There's DB2 9.8 LUW, which is pureScale. There's also DB2 10 for z/OS.
