Can Windows DB2 GUI connect to DB2 on Linux
Can my WIndows GUI's that come when I install DB2 on a Windows system connect to an instance of DB2 on a Linux machine

Is there any sort of specialty software that I can install on Windows that will operate a DB2 instance on Linux ?

You can use the Control Center on a Windows workstation and administer a DB2 instance on a Linux server. The one thing you will not be able to do is set the catalog on the Linux server. You need to do that locally.
