Problems installing DB2 Express C on Windows 7

Hi,
When I try to install 64 bit DB2 Express C on Windows 7, I choose Local User or Domain user account option on the DB2 adminstrator server dialog. The install fails with the message:

Error: 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.805",type=" win32",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processor Architecture="amd64".Please refer to help and support for more information.

I have tried installing as an administrator and I get the same error.

Any tips or pointers greatly appreciated.
