DB2 V9.1 AIX (Log Buffer ?)

If, for example the MINCOMMIT for the logbuffer is set to 5 and a system crash occurs when only 4 commits have been recorded in the logbuffer, does this mean these 4 committed transactions would be permanently lost as they would not have been written to the active log files?
