what are the files to monitor before db2 crashes?

i am learning db2.. i could not find the answer for my above question.. would be great help if you guys can help me with my question

I am not sure what you mean, but take a look at files in this directory, especially db2diag.log

$HOME/sqllib/db2dump (where $HOME is home directory of DB2 instance owner, but this location can be changed in the DBM configuration)

Location is somewhat different for Windows.
