DB2 Client Fixpack upgradation

Hello All,

For DB2 Client Fixpack upgradation , could you please update which one to download for db2v9.5 fixpack 8.

if client is needed : use data server client or runtime client depending on the need for your platform.
what do you mean with : Also could you please update the procedures for the same...

for fixpack 8, there is no additional or extra steps to follow. Whatever steps you followed to upgrade other FPs in V9.5, for FP8 too, its the same. Good Luck !

Thanks all for your updates.

I have upgraded fixpack for DB2 servers and DB2 Connect servers as well and not for DB2 Client ones.

Could any one of us provide me the readme file as I have some problem in downloading the same ? Do we need to bind the db for client servers ?

if you upgrade the server : do a local bind from server to server (sqllib/bnd)
of db2cli.st db2ubind.lst and db2schema.bnd
if you havn't upgraded the client, no need to bind from a client
