Problem in connecting from the client server

I had Installed successfully DB2 9.7.4 on windows 7 and database also got created successfully .But we are not able to connect through the client server.It gives the error of TCP/IP protocol,but we have connected to the correct IP.

ERROR 08001 IBM SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location where the error was detected: "10.***.**.***". Communication function detecting the error: "selectForConnectTimeout". Protocol specific error code(s): "0", "", "". SQLSTATE=08001

have you done all config
Configuring client-to-server connections using the command line processor
db2comm-svcename....
if so : indicate what has been done in detail
