Hi,

I am using the DB2 Load utility to load a delimited file , and am facing a strange issue.

After the delimited file gets loaded into the DB , when I run a select query on the table , it shows the loaded rows along with certain ascii values, in this case the ascii value which is 239 , equivalent to a cube

The delimited file does not contain any such data , then why is DB2 Load utility loading records with the ascii value.

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

How did you verify that?

I verified by opening it , since i had access to the same.

vivek122, Did you view it with a Hex editor? Some of those ASCII characters and non-printable and don't show up on normal viewing.
