Is their any XML file maintained during db2 configuration????
Oracle software configuration is maintained in comps.xml....
so can anybody suggest some xml file containing db2 configauration details as well as db2 database configuration details.?

there is no xml file
when installing db2 you can create a response file for installation of software
instance/db config is NOT part of this - just install options

I have 1 more query,

Is their any file which stores db2 version and fix pack installed on a machine.????Created by Db2 setup itself.

there is a global registry file that can be accessed with db2greg
db2level also displays information about level and fixpack level for an instance
