Tablespace ID showing a negative value

Why is tablespace ID showing a negative value in syscat.tables? What does it signify? For a table, tablespaceID is showing as -6 and tablespace field is left as blank.

Can some one explain in which tablespace does this table reside ??

The table is defined with table partitioning.
