establish connection from DB2 to Oracle

Hi,
Can anyone explain me on the steps required to establish connection from DB2 to Oracle

The keyword to look for is "federation", e.g. Federation: Registering the Oracle wrapper

Note that you will need either the Advanced Enterprise Server Edition license, or Infosphere Federation Server, which is a separate product.

thanks on that. but i need to know is there any other way to establish the connection from db2 to oracle (For eg: by using commands) without using the concepts of federated system?
If not then can you please explain me on the steps?

no federation must be used
look at the infocenter
all command/config settings are documented
install - config - create wrapper.....
