Do we need an instance recycle after changing the db parameter.

"db2 update db cfg using AVG_APPLS 3"

You dont need to recycle the instance after you make change for the db cfg parm AVG_APPLS .

Its configurable online.

But if your changing this parameter please do run the rebind package command after you change the AVG_APPLS value.
