Cool Business Intelligence

Guys.. Saw a webinar on BI tools.. Its interestng, bt still need some basic answers.. What is a BI?? What are the functionalities?? What way it can be accessed?? How to use it?? What are the resources in a BI tool??


Do help me quickly b4 i lose interest..

is more like an implementation of a db2/db specific to the query needs (mostly large queries)
tools like cognos - business objects..
