aix userid last used by DB2

I got a question from the aix-people about a user-id which have not been used for quite some time. Can it be deleted?
Nobody logged in with that id, but perhaps this id is used in some JDBC connection to log into DB2. I wonder, when you log into db2 from a remote location (CLI or JDBC) does that "leave traces" in aix? Is there a way to tell?
(aix 5.3/db2 8.2)
