Thumbs up Unable to start the adminstrator using DB2ADMIN START

I am Unable to start the adminstrator using DB2ADMIN STARTcommand on linux environment
version of db2 9.7.4

i tried logging in as dasusr1 and then tried to give db2admin start but it says command not found...

can i get a help on the command??

was it running before
was dascrt executed to created the server
check the profile to include sqllib/bin ... and other or calling db2profile from sqllib
the environment is not correctly set

hi thankyou for the guidance...

i ran the db2profile and after that i tried to run the db2admin start cmd..but i am still in the same old situation...please help me..

and how do i knw if the environment is sent properly or not...???

pd/psi is good for you
there is a directory das/bin in its home
db2admin is located in that directory
if correctly setup : ../das/bin is in the PATH echo $PATH
otherwise dasdrop / dascrt ...
dasdrop - Remove a DB2 Administration Server

DAS is deprecated in DB2 9.7 and probably won't even be present in later versions (DB2 administration server (DAS) have been deprecated - IBM DB2 9.7 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows), so consider using alternatives.
