understanding output of "describe indexes show detail"

I have run the below command :

Code:
describe indexes for table PSEW.PS_TGT_F_GFB show detail
and the "Column names" as in the result are

Code:
+SETID+LOCATION-EFFDT
Little confused what the '+' and '-' indicate.

Please help.

Thanks

Run db2look and compare the index DDL to your output to see if you can figure it out.

I believe n_i is correct: '+' for ascending and '-' for descending.
