SQL6073N Add Database Partition operation failed

Hi,

when i try to to Add Database Partition by use the IBM API within my code,
then i get always the following message:
"SQL6073N Add Database Partition operation failed. SQLCODE = "-1005"."

I use the IBM API sqleaddn (AddNodeOptions_ptr, &sqlca); to add the database partition.

please can you explain to me what the mean of SQLCODE = "-1005", and how can i solve this issue?

Regards,
Hussein

Hi,

is there a DB2 command that i can use it to attach database partition,
instead of using IBM API sqleaddn function?

Regards,
Hussein

I'm not familiar with that API so I can't help you with that. What is it you are trying to do, and what platform/version are you using?

The term attach has to do with DB2 table partitions, and not DB2 database partitions.
