Too many files with extension .000, why?

Good afternoon,
can someone explain to me why in $ DB2INSTANCE/sqllib/fb2dump many files are generated with this structure?

Check the db2diag.log file for entries at the same time those files are created. It might tell you something.

They are dump files, i.e. binary files. What does db2diag.log say about them?
