We have a performance issue with a remote db2 client application on a windows server querying a db2/UDB database on an AIX server. The windows/AIX query is up to 4 times slower than the same query run on a windows server with the database on another windows server. If the query is run local to the database, the AIX performance is faster than the windows server. The ODBC/db2cli configuration is the same in all cases. The network is same in both remote client configurations. Ideas on why the windows/AIX query is so much slower?
