I have installed the DB2 UDB Connect Personal Edition V8.1 (FP3) product on our P.C. I am connectiong to DB2 for z/OS 7.1 on the mainframe.

I issue a Connect using Command Centre and the connection is successful, but when i try to issue a SELECT or any SQL, i receive a message DBA2192 error.

If i BIND the packages and try again - It works (sometimes) but then if i close the Command Centre and statrt it again and try again - same error.

I'll be honest that most of my experience is z/OS. so i was wondering if anyone could advise me (in laymens terms for UDB) what is wrong and what i have to do to put it right.
