First i want to know if V8.1 works under windows xp, when i´m try to run de control center show this: SQL1092N: "Roly-admin" no dispone de autorizacion para realizar el mandato solicitado".
How i know if it´s well installed?
how i can solve this error?

Hi,

DB2 8.1 works fine in Windows XP. You have to be a Windows Administrator user to install the DB2. Did you install the DB2 with admin user?

If not I suggest:
1. uninstall db2,
2. loggin to Windows as administrator user
3. install db2

I install as administrator user, when log with this user show the error.
Where i can find a guide of installation? I download a red book and it isn´t be of much help, just show next, next and more nexts.-
