Question .db2 files

Sorry for this newbie question, but I received some .db2 files and was wondering how to read/convert these files on a Windows PC (text format or anything else).

I found some tools on the net to export db2 files but they assume you want to log to a db2 database, not use .db2 files.

I believe that pc files with an extension of DB2 (xxxxxxxx.db2) designate dbase II database files. dbase II is an old PC database program which has nothing to do with IBM's DB2.

You might want to post this question in another forum such as the following: http://www.dbforums.com/f86/

There's also a "wotsit's format" site (wotsit.com or somesuch) that lists known PC file-formats and what they're thought to be.
