Wink db2 8.1 on redhat linux 9.0

Hi ,

I installed DB2 8.1 TRIAL ON REDHAT linux 9.0 .
i cannot get db2admin to stop
i get this error
SQL22212N A DB2 Administration Server communication error has been detected

i used LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL

also i cant get control center to work . I keep getting errors/warning when i try to use it .

i had installed DB2 8.1 on the same rdhat linux 9.0 some months back and it worked fine.

any ideas.

Thanks again!

Has the 90 day trial run out? Many software packages will not let you uninstall and reinstall if the trial period is over (not sure how they do it).

No it is still the first day i have used.
i even tried using DB2 Express edition and i have the same problem.

Another thing i noticed is when i try to su - db2inst1 or su - dasusr1 .it hangs and i have to close the session . Does not respond to Ctrl C or Ctrl Q.

Thanks in advance !
