RAID is type of disk organization that is not directly related to DB2. There is software RAID and hardware RAID (the most common implementation). You can do a google search.

RAID1

Hi Marcus,

what is it used for? What is its advantage? Is it something to do with general database? The hardware Raid is the one that I mention, RAID1.

Thanks.
