I'm not sure whether to class this as an error, peculiarity or me not doing something right. I've recently installed DB2 workgroup edition ver. 7.2 on my Dell laptop running Windows XP. Command centre, control centre and all the rest of the applications load up fine. However, when I first start up the laptop, the internal speaker emits 5 loud beeps just as windows finishes loading.

I know this problem relates to DB2 as when it is uninstalled no beeping occurs. Has anyone come across something similar to this and a way to solve it?
