BLOB's

I was just wondering if it's possible to just a use a basic INSERT INTO and SELECT from statement when dealing with BLOB's?

I've found a couple of examples (WriteBLOB.zip. GetBLOB.zip) on the web...

The reason I ask is we need to insert several values into a table and one of these happens to be a BLOB (jpeg image file). Would like to do everything all at once without having to do anything "funky".

Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks!
