datediff function

Hi Gurus

There is a function in oracle datediff to get the number of days betwen two dates.But someone has crated a function with name "datediff " with different functionality.If i want to use the original datediff function , is there any way other than deleting the user created datediff function.

Hi,

I no know the datedif in DB2, yes in sql.
You can use this:

days(date1) - days(date2)

There is another useful funtion , TIMESTAMPDIFF
