DB2 service is going down

Hello,

I got a problem with DB2 8.1 PE/Server with a web app: When I start a transaction to import data to the database the DB2 service just goes down. No message is coming up, no log is written and the client runs to death.

I increased several params (logbufs, filesizes etc.) but nothing helped.

What can I do?

Thanx in advance

Tux

Re: DB2 service is going down

Increse the diaglevel and notifylevel to 4 and see if you get any useful message...

In a different context, as per DB2 PE's licensing, you should not be running a web-application on PE

Cheers

I've already set notifylevel and diaglevel to 4 but the only worthful message is

DIA8516C A severe internal processing error has occurred.
ZRC=0x87120007ÿ

I also installed fixpack 4 - with no success.

By the way, the error occurs in both DB2 versions PE and Server, but only if the number of data sets relying in the database is greater than 8000 or so...

Any further ideas?
