join db2 and oracle in one sql statement

Hi
I want to be able to query and join DB2 mainframe tables and Oracle tables (on Solaris) within a single sql query. I know that I can do this with IBM's Information Integrator (up-to-date version of Data Joiner) - can anyone tell me whether there are any alternatives to Information Integrator ?
