SQL0334N Overflow in codepage conversion from 1252 to 1208

Hi,

we have a DB2 UDB 7.2 FP8 running on W2K with a Codepage 1252 (from Installation). A Siebel client application (Tools) is accessing this database via CLI with an unknown codepage (perhaps 1208).

During work the SQL-Error SQL0334N occurs.

Setting the DB2CODEPAGE=1252 on the client, to make it the same as on the server, doesn't seem to have any effect.

Does anybody have an explanation, suggestions, solutions for this problem ?

My suggestion is to change the codepage of the database which you will use!I think the codepage of the client is the same as you system.so you can change the codepage of the database on server !That is just a suggestion!
