Advanced DB2 DBA Courses

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea about the Advanced DB2 DBA Courses that are conducted by IBM or any other institute in India/Abroad.

Could you please provide me with some useful links.

Regards

Nitin.

Wink Training

There are no specific ADVANCE course for DBA. Let me rephrase that the are advance courses but the are not called ADVANCED DBA TRAINING!

Generally DBA Training is as follows:
Some form of DBA introduction
The Database Administration Course
An SQL Course

ADVANCED
APPLICATIONS and SYSTEMS RECOVERY
APPLICATION PROGRAMMING

I think you should contact your local IBM or their website

Angry DB2 Information

Just when I though I knew most thing about DB2 for OS/390 out comes UDB. Sorry but that is true.

I still suggest you contact IBM locally and hear what they offer.

Thread Closed

Hi Guys,

Let's close this thread here itself.

A few answers to your questions...

I already have the book mentioned by Racha in both hard copy and soft copy so what I was looking for is some intensive advanced dba training, it's not the english here but what I meant was for experienced dba's who want to learn to interpret how to understand the db2diag.log as well as go in for HACMP and Replication processes.

Just to add I am already an IBM Certified DB2 Solutions Expert.

Hope I did not get too personal.

Regards

Nitin.
