DB2 dump files ?

Hi!

On my DB2 installation there is a DB2 (instance name) directory inside SQLLIB installation directory. There are numerous files with odd names that have only numbers in it and end with 000 extension (example: 11081016.000)
I wonder what these files are and if I can delete them, because they take a lot of disc space up.

I'm running DB2 v8.1 with FixPak 3 on Windows 2000 Server.

Best regards,
Kovi

Re: DB2 dump files ?

I think they should be dump files ... Are there any messages in db2diag.log file with corresponding thread/process id ?

Generally dump files can be safely removed ...

Cheers

Sathyaram
