Problems With Installing 8

I was wndering if anyone has encountered probelms with migrating from Version 7 to Version 8. Specifically:

On one machine (Windows 2000, latest FixPack), I uninstalled an existing install of DB2 - Version 7. Uninstall completed successfully witrh no problems. I stopped and restarted the machine. Everything looked good: was able to create databases and database objects with no problem.

The problem arose with the IBM DB2 ODBC driver...keep getting the "could not load the setup or translator library" series of errors. I checked on the driver and the version and company name ar eboth NOT MARKED.

I've installed FixPak 3 and the latest MDAC and still getting errors.

ANY ideas?

Thanks!!

Anthony
