Live implementation in DB2

Has anyone have done a live implementation in DB2?
Can anyone explain what are the steps and utilities used to do a live implementation in DB2?

I appreciate any help.
Thanks.

"live implementation" means to update tables, triggers, stored procedures without taking the db offline. It is seamless for the user.
The user continues working without knowing an update/change has been performed.

Thanks again.
