Hi all has anyone seen this error before


The setup routines for the IBM DB2 ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126.

I get this when trying to configure any DB2 ODBC entry.

New install fopr V8.1 Client ( also triued this with fixpack 2 & 3 , same fault ).

Did you check db2daig.log? Should be under C:\Program Files\SQLLIB\DB2

I've had the same message.

Run regedit.exe on your PC and find the file DB2cli.dll. Check that the .dll's path is the same as the install directory on your PC. Some times the 2 get out of sync during re-installation. After editing my registery I could add and configure my IBM ODBCs again.

I.e my registery showed d:\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN\db2cli.dll while it was installed in d:\SQLLIB\BIN\db2cli.dll
