cannot start control center, ...

Hi
I'm using DB2 Universal Database Express Edition 8.1.
My database is up and running and I can access it via the Command Line Processor. All the other tools : control center, command center. The startup screen stays for about 10 secs and disappears without any error message.
In the db2dialog file I find :
2003-12-08-15.55.28.120000 InstanceB2 Node:000
PID:1380(db2syscs.exe) TID:2728 Appid:*LOCAL.DB2.00DFC8145528
base sys utilities sqleattach_agent Probe:60

DIA8117C Error with userid "".
ZRC=0x805C006A
but I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem.

Any help is very appreciated

Which OS

Hi,

Please let us know your OS.

If in windows, please ensure that your java path is set correctly and also that the services DB2-DB2CTLSV-0 and DB2DAS-DB2DAS00 are started properly.

Please ensure that at the service level the passwords are proper if not you can change the same to local system account. Also ensure that now javaw.exe are running prior to launching the Control center.

HTH

Nitin.
