UNIX Control Center

DO Db2 has Unix control center? that is, from AIX when I issue db2cc --control center starts.

OR

From Windows DB2 client I have to configure unix hostname and then I have play around with Control center using Unix DB?

Please help me to use control center or tell me the online doc to configure Db2 client to Unix.

Currently I do not have db2cc in AIX

Thanks

Admin Client

Hi,

The prefered way is loading admin client on windows and cataloging the Aix Database and using the Control Centre from your windows to administer the Instance or the Database.

That's the way I guess majority of the unix users do.

Please also refer there might be older threads where the same has been discussed before.

regards

Nitin.
