SQL30082N rc=24

Our system is db2 v8 fp2 on AIX 5.1. We experience a strange problem in that our system will be up and running for several weeks then suddenly we start getting SQL20082N rc=24 messages. We get these from clients and when trying to connect to a database from the UNIX command line (connect to database user username using password). We bring db2 down and back up and we are OK. We have had this problem twice since October.
