Question unable to start the db2 using db2start

db2inst8 /home/db2inst8>db2start
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program /home/db2inst8/sqllib/adm/db2star2 because of the following errors:
0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for db2star2 because:
0509-136 Symbol sqleInitAppTable__FP8sqlekrcb (number 31) is not exported from
dependent module /usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2e.a(shr.o).
0509-136 Symbol sqlofgets (number 89) is not exported from
dependent module /usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2e.a(shr.o).
0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the
'dump -Tv' command.

I get these errors when i try to start DB2

Any Ideas .. it was working fine till yesterday now today, all of a sudden why this .. fail to understand ...

Done !!

THANK YOU for the help Guys,

I have dropped the instance and created a new one and it works fine.
That solved the problem for the time being.

But, still a mystery. Why was it not starting after working for quite some days.
