restore database on xp from backup on win2000

Hi,

I've a backup of DB2 7.2 database taken on win 2000 server.
Now I want to restore this database on win XP machine.
I want to know if this is possible.

If anyone knows, please let me know.

Yes this should work fine. Make sure you have DB2 Server installed on a version of XP that is supported. I don't believe that XP Home or Professional are supported for DB2 Database Servers (clients are OK).
