How to delete queued task in task center

Hello,

DB2 V8.1
FixPack 4
OS: Windows XP pro

I had a task in the task center that was in a queued state. I didn't know how to remove the task from that state, so I removed the task instead (hoping to remove it from the queued state and then I could create it again). However, now, my task center keeps on popping up the following message:

"Task (5.0) associated with the selected Task History entry has been deleted"

It seems that the task is still in the queue. How do I remove it from this state? Or how can I resolve this issue.

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Devani

Journal

Hi

Can you please check if the journal has any entries pertaining to that task. Go ahead and clean those entries and that should hopefully resolve your issue.

Secondly try creating the same task with a diffname that shd work.
