Remote Client Connectivity, EEE (UDB ESES with DPF) and Catalog Node

I have heard differing opinions about remote client connectivity and should one let the client connect to (by default) partition 0 which is the Catalog "node" or whether one should "reconfigure" the database such the Catalog node will NOT be node 0 and won't be the lowest node in db2nodes.cfg . We don't want any inidividual settings (such as set client ...) to force the client to a specific node.
I'm looking for opinions and based on experience.
Thanks,
Ruby
