Red face How to take Incremental/delta backup

Hi All,

I want to take an incremental and delta backups of the DB2 8.1.

My Question is

Is it mandatory to have my databases to be archieved database (ie Logretain/userexit to be ON) to work with Incremental/delta backups.

Your database must be archived to do incremental backups.
