The readme for fixpack 11 has this:

To determine the version and level of the currently installed DB2 product,
type regedit from an MS-DOS prompt and check the following values under
the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\DB2\<product name>\CurrentVersion.
The values should be the following:

Version "6"
Release "1"
Modification "0"
Service Level ""

But my modification is level 8 and service level is WR21256. Before I try something possibly harmful, does that simply mean that I've already got fixpack 8 and can install 11 or is there some other difference and I should not install 11?
