Red face Command to create case insensitive database ???

Hi All,

Can anyone help me out to create a case insensitive database.

I had created database with different collating sequences , but no Luck

I am working on DB2 8.1 on AIX and W2K

All answers are welcommed

Hi,

I think that createing insensitive database is not posible.

But you can do the UCASE or LCASE function to insert data into database. You can also use UCASE or LCASE function in select statements.

I have heard rumors that there will be DB2 enhancements in the future that allows case insensitive searches.
