hi,
i am preparing for db2 701 exam, but i am unable to find any sample tests for this exam.i am not finding any assessments tests in IBM site also. i cleared 700 exam by practicing tests from IBM site.
can anyone who has passed this exam help me to find some sample tests.

IBM has apparently outsourced the web hosting of the sample tests to another firm. This was recently discussed in other threads, so you can search this forum to find the new site, but it also may be mentioned on the IBM site.

There may be a period of time when the sample tests are not available anywhere before they get the new site is up and running. There has apparently been some unexpected delay.

As Marcus pointed out we have discussed a lot earlier on the same and you can search the forum for that thread, you would get all the necessary information.

as already said, IBM is changing the way it "handels" the certification procedure. Last year IBM started with the business partners what they call ECIS (Education Center for IBM Software). These business partners are certified from IBM to teach certification courses (not only for DB2). If you want to check for a ECIS near you, go to

and there click on "Course Schedule".

I did one of the assessment tests but didn't get the passing score. There must be something wrong with their software :-)

I am sure that these sample tests do help a lot in achieving the final goal that is certificaition. I have achieved certification after practise from these sites.

I have been regularly practising the sample tests right from the day's it was launched on ICE and we could not see where we went wrong, however with the latest tests launched on selftestsoftware.com we can at the least see where we are wrong.

The only thing is once if u have attempted a particular test 2-3 times it does become monotonous.
