Question Snapshot Permissions

Hi all

Is it possible for a user to be given permissions to do snapshots (other than the instance owner)?

Thanks
Jamie

That may not be a right thing to do as your id will get all other privileges associated with that group ..

You can add yourself to a group which you can define as sysmaint

db2 update dbm cfg using sysmaint_group group1

Cheers
Sathyaram,
