Function specific name

I created a function named emdd.lpad and I noticed that its specific name was sql040205125700000.
May I alter it to be the same as the function name?

AFAIK, there is no ALTER FUNCTION ...

But when you create you can say SPECIFIC <specific name> ...
The specific name can be anything, including the name of the function, but you can probably make it more descriptive ..
say lpadv1_01 ie include the version info
